In semiconductor industry, business scale is over U.S. $300 billion per year and business size is keep growing year to year. Distributors are in the midstream of semiconductor supply chain. How to create its own value and to be outstanding is an important topic to the company. The study is focus on two leading distributors of semiconductor industry, one is local based company and the other is invested by foreign funds. In order to identify the difference between two companies and how to be successful in the market, the study is based on five forces analysis to identify both companies’ working model of operation, which including suppliers, customers, substitutes, new entrants and existed competitors. On the other hand, the study is based on SWOT analysis to indicate more detailed operating analysis of case companies. 1. Identify current status and key factors of how to be competitive in the market. 2. Analysis pros and cons of two leading companies by case study. 3. Foresee market trends and advise how to be competitive in the industry.
