摘要: 本論文以台灣高科技業的龍頭─台灣積體電路製造公司(簡稱台積)為例,探討高科技企業的組織結構與組織文化;內容除探討台積成立背景及其各階段的發展、變革外,並深入剖析台積組織結構構面及其文化的特徵。 研究結果發現其生產部門十分講求紀律及規定,制度化程度高,所有步驟都明確規範,偏向機械式組織,與部份學者認為的高科技業為有機、彈性的組織結構一說並不相同。 此外,也就台積未來組織結構與組織文化面臨的挑戰,提出看法與建議。
This thesis focuses on the leader of Taiwan high tech industrial field- Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (tsmc), and uses the company as an example to research the organization structure and organizational culture in high tech enterprise. In the contents, except an investigation into tsmc foundation, background and development of every stage, its organization structure dimensions and cultural features are analyzed into details. It is found that tsmc manufacturing department is strict on discipline and rules. All manufacturing steps are clearly defined with high formalization, which makes the department tend towards mechanistic structure and differ from the concept of high tech enterprise with organic structure. Besides, tsmc future challenges on organization structure and organizational culture are discussed as well.
