摘要: 半導體業因為摩爾定律的推動,其競爭十分激烈,然而營運成果卓越之公司,其營運穩健,毛利高,其抵禦不景氣之能力更為明顯。因此半導體公司的競爭力分析成為值得研究的課題。 本研究以半導體業者A公司為對象,A公司近幾年營運成果豐碩,因此針對A以SWOT分析其競爭力。 本研究分析發現之綜合結論如下: 個案公司的優勢為健全的公司財務結構,重視研發的環境,研發人員的素質頗高,管理人員的管理能力也相當不錯,具有優良的工程能力,且具有優良的產品研發能力。劣勢分析發現較不具彈性的公司組織與較弱的公司品牌,尚需要長久的努力。 在機會方面業界對於新技術有需求,又具技術上的瓶頸,業界的研發活動蓬勃加上非營利組織的研發日益頻繁,與新近大量研發人員,都是可以善用的機會。威脅方面進入新領域是進入障礙高,高競爭強度,競爭對手既多且強,且授權市場是蓬勃的,研發也可以被授權所取代。由此,並提出幾點作為個案公司的發展策略。 a.利用健全的公司財務結構,吸引優良的人才,壯大企業中的研發與營運能量。 b.善用重視研發的環境,配合優良的研發人才,積極尋求技術上的突破。 c.卓越的工程能力可以讓研發工作事半功倍,應該增加工程單位與研發單位的合作,是研發工作更加順利。 d.吸引業界加入聯盟,使得企業在技術上的優勢達到最佳的使用效率,降低研發成本與風險。 e.由於非營利組織的研發日益頻繁,因此應該加強與非營利組織的合作,如此可以降低新技術開發風險與經費。
Fueled by the Moore’s law, the semiconductor industry is eager to improve the competence. World class companies perform stable business and high gross margin. In the regression age, the companies are immune to the economical impacts. Therefore, the competitive analysis is worthy research topic. In this work, we focused on the A company. A company is growing fast in the last 5 years and earns tremendous profit. We thus choose company A as the subject of case study. According to the SWOT analysis and interviews, we conclude. The strength of the A company is as the following: The strong financial structure, well developed research environment, well engineering quality, and the ability for developing new products. The weakness of the company is on the branding and the bureaucratic organization. The opportunities of the company are bottleneck of the technology, and vivid research of the field the NPOs, along with the new researchers. The threats are the strong competition, and the technology authorization. From the observations we get from the analysis, we further point out the strategies for future growth. A. Attracting high quality human recourse by the strong financial structure to improve the business capacity. B. Utilizing the well developed research environment to push the researchers to gain the breakthroughs. C. Increasing the cooperation between the engineering department and the research department to increase both the engineering and the research capabilities. D. Forming strategic alliance to improve the business strength. E. Cooperating with NPO to improve the research speed and to reduce the risk.
