摘要: 本篇論文是針對作者的自身經驗,以紙張為主要創作的媒材,藉由編織交 錯的手感表現、視覺的實驗變化,所進行階段性複合媒材視覺實驗創作。透過 自傳式的書寫及紀錄夢日記的論述,主要分為過去創作紀錄與研究所畢業製作 的作品「陌生」系列兩大部份,進而探討女性意識的覺醒與內視自省個體化的 過程。在「陌生」這一作品中,當筆者重新解構、編織三個女人的影像時,並 無法百分之百預見這整件作品完成的樣子,如同在茫茫大道上堅持用直覺走自 己的路,這中間沒有是非對錯,沒有任何社會偏見的涉入,只有憑著直觀的意 識往前走。對於選擇這樣的方式走藝術創作有其風險,容易忘記自己當時的初 衷而開始變得不知所措,也易於對自己開始感到陌生。文中試圖檢視作品與過 去一年來的夢之關聯性,也期待未來尚未發生的創作與夢,在夢的解析的幫助 下,筆者將繼續往藝術創作之路邁進。
This thesis focused on a visual experiment using papers as the main medium to create the cross weaving surface of a work. My own life experiences were interwoven into the work to enrich the results of visual experiment. An autobiographical and diaries writing of my dreams were used to reveal two aspects. They are the records of my art making in general and the making of my graduation piece "Strangeness-the Woven Matrix". Both of them have shown the process of my awakening consciousness of being a woman and my inner reflections of the process of individualization. In the "Strangeness-the Woven Matrix" series, I first deconstructed the image of the three women-my grandmother, mother and myself, sliced them into pieces and re- weaved them together. However, it is hard for me to foresee the completed work. There are always risks when one responds to art making with instinct. It is a direct response without any judgment or bias involved, but only act by one's intuitive sense. Sometimes, it made me deviate from the normal course or feel unfamiliar with myself. Therefore, in this thesis I attempted to review the connections between my works and my dreams from the last year. With the help of analyzing my dreams, I will continue my journey of art making. I not only examine the connections between my dreams and my works but also expect my future dreams to come (true).
