dc.description.abstractAn open-loop fibre-optic gyroscope with stabilized scale factor has been constructed with a spectrum-broadened laser diode as the light source. A comparative study of two types of servo loop for scale factor stabilization showed that the automatic gain control (AGC) loop is superior to the automatic power control (APC) loop.en_US
