摘要: 緣起、研究背景:本計畫將探討駕駛員(或飛行員)在戰車模擬器(或飛行模擬器)駕駛過程中巡航能力之行為反應與腦動態研究,以提供並幫助駕駛員(飛行員)於空間巡航性時,有效提升專注性之方法。而人的各種認知及生理狀態,都會在大腦腦波上有不同頻率的不同能量變化。因此,本計畫將透過測量受測者的腦波,來探討空間巡航時的認知狀態。在此計畫中,將使用環繞式立體3D虛擬實境場景,模擬戰車模擬器(或飛行模擬器)實境駕駛,建立高擬真度的空間巡航場景,並可控制外在環境干擾等變因,達到方便探討空間認知活動反應的成效。而實驗過程,將同時以客觀方式評估,透過腦電波生理參數的量測,以臨床生理監視分析系統,對駕駛員(或飛行員)之生理訊號監控,並分析空間巡航時大腦專注力之認知功能變化。 有關研究之探討與預期目標:空間巡航是一件高複雜度的認知活動,包含整合體感覺,視覺等訊息,並且在腦中建立空間地圖,最後使用腦中空間地圖中做巡航的規劃。一旦腦中的空間地圖不完整,或和現實場景不一致,此時,須有效提升專注力以利空間巡航目標搜尋。投影到戰場上時,戰況瞬息萬變,除了戰爭雙方的將士及武器,還有平民、建築等的因子,致使周遭環境隨時都在改變,場內的戰士們也須作出適當的反應以求生存,在以都市為戰場時,卻常因地形因素致行動受限。除了在路上常有民車、公用設施等障礙,且偶有突發狀況,如房屋倒塌、地雷的設置、轟炸機投彈等的發生,以致原先的路徑規劃被破壞而導致腦中的空間地圖不完整,此時須提升專注性以增進空間巡航之作業任務。預期利用無線腦機介面可以提升空間巡航時專注力,以讓戰車模擬器(或飛行模擬器)須及時停止前進以免撞上、造成安全事故,同時尚須繞行以到達上級指示的位置進行支援。
Motivation: This study will investigate the drivers’ behaviors and brain dynamics in navigation when driving tanks. This may offer drivers some solutions facing disorientation during navigation. How the humans’ cognition and physiology act will be plotted on the vary-frequency power changing in humans’ brain. Therefore, this study will go through the recorded brain waves and investigate cognitive situations in navigation. In these plans, a surrounding 3D virtual reality scene and a simulating tank will be used, in order to construct a highly simulation navigation scenery. In addition, the variables like noise from environments should be controllable to easily investigate effects of spatial cognitive activities reaction. As for the experiments process, the physical signals (EEG) and change of brains’ cognitive functions should be monitored objectively, and analyzed during navigation disorientation. Method: Space navigatioin is a highly complex cognitive activity, including the integration of somatosensory, visual and other information. It includes the establishment of spatial map in the brain, and finally the use of brain space maps to do patrolling planning. Once the spatial maps are incomplete in your brain or inconsistent to the realistic scenarios, the change will produce spatial disorientation problems. When projecting onto the battlefield with fighting constantly changing, in addition to factors of both soldiers and weapons of war, as well as civilians, buildings, etc., the surrounding environment changes all the time. The tank is s still one of the important relied Army combat power. When the city was the battlefield, there are many limitations for the tank to navigate in the battlefield. The limitations will destroy the original path planning in your brain that could become a problem to spatial disorientation. In this project, we will expect that the use of a wireless brain computer interface will improve the problem of spatial navigation of the driver of tank that makes the tank to avoid hitting, accidents and barrier. Moreover, the tank will choose other path to navigate to the position of goal.
